We exist for each other, for Redlands, for the Inland Empire, for California, and the nations. The gospel we walk in is meant to be carried outward. A pathway is only a pathway if it goes somewhere.
Local Outreach
Pathway’s local outreach team exists to mobilize our people to build bridges of trust that can bear the weight of truth.
• We don’t want to simply see people’s lives tangibly improved without hearing about their greatest need: Christ.
• We don’t want to simply give people the message of Jesus Christ without them being tangibly helped in their immediate need.
Our local outreach efforts are no substitute to each of us walking with Jesus and inviting others to join us along the way. So, with our local outreach, we are asking the question: What can we do together that we can’t do alone?
This leads us to pray for other local churches, build partnerships with existing non-profits and ministries that are doing quality, gospel-work. It finally leads us to consider stepping into creating ministries that will fill the gaps of need in our region.
This has resulted in us working alongside other gospel-believing churches to serve our city for Love Redlands every February/March. This special day demonstrates our love for the people in our city, and it also demonstrates the shared unity we have with other gospel-believing churches in Redlands.
This has also resulted in us serving our local schools in various ways, senior centers, homeless ministries, single mothers, children, and much more in our community.
Our local outreach is led by a team of compassionate people and meets regularly to evaluate and consider how to mobilize our people to do things together that we can’t do alone. That team is led by Pastor Josh Howeth.
