Overview
The Security Team provides a safe and secure environment for everyone who attends church services. This team serves quietly and attentively behind the scenes, ensuring that worship, ministry, can happen without distraction or concern.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Monitor the Campus: Maintain awareness of entrances, parking lots, children’s areas, and worship spaces during services.
- Respond to Situations: Quickly and calmly respond to medical needs, emergencies, or potential disruptions—always seeking to de-escalate with care and discernment.
- Support Other Teams: Work closely with greeters, ushers, and staff to help manage crowd flow, identify potential concerns, and assist with safety situations.
- Coordinate with Local Authorities: When necessary, communicate and cooperate with law enforcement or emergency responders in a professional and respectful manner.
When & How Often
- Serve one to two Sundays per month (typically arriving 15 minutes before service).
- Participate in team briefings for assignments and updates before each service.
