Christie Schultz is Pathway’s Director of Children’s Ministry. She partners with parents and kids as they grow in their relationships with Jesus. She gets to bring curiosity, wonder, and gospel truths into kids ministry through curriculum planning, community-building events, service opportunities that empower kids, and just awesome intentional playtime.
She says it’s an honor to build relationships with each kid from birth through fifth grade and watch them grow in every facet of their lives over the years. As a bonus, she gets to know amazing parents and caregivers who are raising these kids. She feels very blessed to be called into this role.
Christie was born in Colorado, lived in Saudi Arabia with her parents as a toddler, spent her childhood in Colorado, then moved to Northern California when she was 12. She went to Azusa Pacific University and met her husband, Nathan, during her senior year. They found Pathway Church nine years ago and have raised both of their kiddos within this church family.
She loves four-wheeling in her jeep, hiking in the mountains, sitting around campfires sharing stories, and listening to good music.
